Congratulations to Mr. Greg White, La Habra City School District's newly selected 2009 –2010 Teacher of the Year.  Mr. White has been teaching 8th grade Language Arts at Imperial Middle School for the last 10 years.  He is a tireless teacher who never gives up on his students and believes reading is the gateway to success.  Mr. White has changed the lives of his students and their future in ways we can’t even begin to see!

Mr. White’s passion and commitment for learning shine through the moment you enter his classroom. His willingness to try new ideas and find the most effective teaching strategies to meet the needs of each of his students has earned him the praise of colleagues, parents, and students alike.

Albert Einstein wrote in 1940,  “It is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge.”  Mr. White does just that with his students, and for that we applaud him!
