In early February, an excited group of our Second graders attended a School Board Meeting to demonstrate their singing skills to our Board Members, Superintendent and a room full of parents and teachers. Led by Second Grade Teacher, Cindy Smith and accompanied by Susan Goellrich, the students performed two of their favorite songs “ I Can’t Wait to be King” and “Zip a Dee Doo Dah”. These students volunteered to join this singing group and selected the songs based upon personal favorites from past performances. They gave up recess time to rehearse and get ready for the presentation. |
